CalmTab is designed to respect your privacy. The extension does not collect, store or sell any personal information. All settings and data remain on your device unless you choose to enable specific optional features.

- Browsing history
- Search queries
- Identifiers
- Analytics or usage data
- Tracking data of any kind
Local data only
The following items are stored on your device and never sent anywhere:
- Sticky notes
- World clocks
- Workspace shortcuts
- Background preferences
- Daily quote settings
- All general extension settings
Optional weather feature
If you enable weather, your browser will ask for permission to use your location. Your coordinates are sent directly to BigDataCloud for city lookup and to Open Meteo for weather data. CalmTab does not receive, store or process any location information. You can turn off the weather feature at any time.
Remote content
CalmTab downloads static content such as background images, quotes and photo credits from calmtab.co. These are simple read only requests. No data is sent from your device during these downloads.
Premium licences
If you upgrade to premium, your licence key is checked against calmtab.co to validate your subscription. Only the licence key is transmitted. No personal details or other data are ever sent.
Third parties
CalmTab does not share any data with third parties. No advertisers, trackers or analytics tools are used.
Children
CalmTab is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be made available at calmtab.co.
